Small rectangular box of Saint Ananias

Box made in Syria by two brothers from Damascus.
Handmade, it measures 13 x 8 x 4 cm.
The inside is protected by a thick dark red fabric. The inlaid mother-of-pearl gives value to this magnificent box. The different types of wood are glued together according to a drawing, with bone glue, which is a very powerful glue.
